WHAT IS GMAP?
Give Me A Paw (GMAP) is an officially registered Lebanese NGO and dog shelter located near Ras El Maten with over 100 dogs at our facility. Our main mission is to rescue and rehabilitate stray dogs, as well as to raise awareness about their plight in the country. Our other goals include inspiring passion within the public for animals and their welfare as well as a deep respect for nature and wildlife.
We aim to have a country and a world where every stray is fed, treated, and eventually adopted into a loving home, because it’s hard to be hungry, hurt, and homeless.
WHAT IS CHARITY SHOP BY GMAP?
Charity Shop is so much more than a pet store. It was founded with the goals of providing pet and animal lovers with the highest quality products for the best possible prices, directly matching those of the Lebanese market, as well as helping animals in need. Each penny per purchase goes towards helping not only our dogs, but every desperate animal case we encounter.
Charity Shop does NOT sell animals, as keeping animals confined to cages within shops goes against everything we believe in at GMAP, but we do sell everything else you can think of pertaining to animals and their care (e.g. dog and cat food, leashes, collars, bowls, toys shampoos, etc.).
HOW DOES IT WORK?
If you’ve ever Googled “pet store lebanon”, in the hopes of finding a certain item for your pet, you might have noticed that the process of acquiring the desired product is messy. With Charity Shop, the steps you have to take are completely fuss-free, and everything can be done from the comfort of your own home! Our website is very user-friendly and intuitive, allowing you to compare different products as well as filter your results so that you can pinpoint the item that best suits your budget and your pet’s taste.
For example, here’s all you need to do to get your dog their new favorite toy on a budget:

2. Scroll down until you get to the different categories.
3. Click on “Dog toys”.
4. Click on either of the “sort by price” options in the sorting bar on the right of the results page.
5. Find the most affordable and suitable toy for your pooch and add it to your cart.
To finalize your purchase:
- Go to your cart at the top right of the website page.
- Click “checkout”.
- You can choose to add a donation to your purchase.
- Fill in the necessary information.
