Dog Training in Lebanon: Amir x GMAP

Amir Abou Said, also known as k9.amir, visited the GMAP shelter and, in addition to training the GMAP shelter dogs, gave the staff and visitors specialized dog training courses. Amir, who is an internationally certified dog trainer, aims to shed light on the secrets of dog training in Lebanon.

Dog Training in Lebanon: Amir x GMAP

At GMAP, we want to show the Lebanese public that shelter dogs are trainable.

In fact, the shelter dogs did exceedingly well in all their lessons!

Dog training in Lebanon is not restricted to purebred pet shop dogs.

Both Amir and GMAP successfully delivered this message through live updates on their social media pages.

Why is dog training in Lebanon so important?

  • It tackles many behavioral problems that lead to dogs being dumped on the streets in Lebanon.
  • Training your dog makes them better behaved around yourself and others.
  • Socialization, a very important aspect of dog training, ensures that your dog can get along with everyone around them.
  • A well-trained dog is not a threat to society.
  • Training is intellectually stimulating to dogs (i.e. it can provide entertainment).
  • It can be a great way to bond with your dog.
  • Finally, understanding your dog’s psychology can help you to better understand their behavior and accommodate it.

Now that we’ve skimmed the surface of why dog training is so crucial, you’ll be happy to know that anyone can do it with proper guidance!

To start on dog training in Lebanon, you can easily get in touch with Amir or attend one of his workshops at the GMAP shelter!

Don’t forget that you can adopt a GMAP shelter dog that has  been trained by Amir’s team!  You can also have fun and bond with them by taking Amir’s courses and training them yourself.

Last but not least, remember to shop for your pet’s needs at Charity Shop by GMAP so we can continue to help people with dog training in Lebanon and spread the message that shelter dogs are just as trainable as any other dogs!

Best regards,
The Charity Shop Team
